After beginning his career as a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual in 2005, Jake LeSourd turned his attention to the brokerage business. A natural leader, Jake quickly joined a large BGA and proceeded to cement his reputation as the top sales leader for well over a decade.
Jake’s leadership stems from his innate understanding of people. The relationships he has nurtured with agents, producers, and advisors from around the country helped illuminate untapped opportunities in their market and unmet needs in their day-to-day workflow. This is why, in 2022, Jake gathered a team of the best minds he had met in the industry in order to maximize the producer experience. This effort led to the creation of LeSourd Partners, Inc.
Jake’s dream to build his own brokerage firm is second only to his intentional belief that top producers, agents, and advisors should be rewarded for their talents, recognized for their contributions, and treated to a strategic relationship that suits their status.
Jake brings with him a long-tenured record of navigating his producers and advisors through the placement of large jumbo retention cases, with his vast knowledge of the reinsurance and retention side of the business. Jake also specializes in overcoming the hurdles associated with complex impaired risk cases. His deep, trusting relationships with key insurance executives, reinsurance underwriting decision makers, chief underwriters, and medical directors at the largest, most reputable brokerage companies help him consistently create the best possible outcome for his clients.

Jake and his wife, Deana, have two boys, 6-year-old Everett and 9-year-old Hutton (and honorable mention Hayes, a 1-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever). On the weekends, you can usually find them on the diamond, fielding grounders and swinging for the fences.
